Culinary masterpieces provide a glimpse into one's soul. Here is a first look into mine...
41312 - Nutella Double-Chocolate Chip Cookies
What more is there to say? Well I’ll admit, people always say to be exact when baking and I pretty much threw in some yummy extras and the cookies turned out just magical! Served warm with some dulce de leche ice cream and that my friends, will be heaven in your mouth!
41212 - Turkey breast “Shepherd’s Pie” and a Tequila-Lime Shrimp Taco/Burrito Bar! Sometimes I get the most random cravings!
Shepherd’s Pie: Originating from England or Scotland and dating back to the 1870s, a true “Shepherd’s Pie” contains Mutton (or older sheep and not beef, turkey, etc..) and was an affordable dish made from potatoes and leftover meat. However, I’ve put a fresh, tasty, satisfying, yet healthy spin on the original Shepherd’s pie! Try it out!
Tequila-Lime Shrimp: Hmm..what do y’all think goes into this dish? Super simple – season the shrimp with salt and white pepper. Let it marinate in some garlic, tequila and freshly squeezed lime juice! Serve with a bar of fresh guacamole, queso fresco, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, lime wedges (which come in handy for the Tequila shots of course!) and you have a nice little Fiesta! Fiesta!
4/09/12 - NY Steak, bacon-brussel sprouts, and orange-blackberry-vanilla creme brulee topped with fresh blackberries and a marscarpone-honey cream thank you lunch for my fave unicorn, Kat!
What better way to show appreciation than with a huge piece of meat and some sweet, creamy indulgences?!
4/06/12 - Honey-herb roasted, stuffed chicken with pan gravy; slowly braised, red wine short ribs; a fresh mushroom, parsley, parmesan salad in a refreshingly sweet and tangy lemon vinaigrette.
Felt like cooking the World and luckily, my brother Ryan accompanied me through this journey of a meal!
Warning: Will cause extreme food coma!
4/04/12 - Dessert anyone?! Well try my blackberry-vanilla creme brulee and you will not be dissappointed my friends! Think Ro enjoyed it :)
A whole pint of blackberries were slowly reduces with some sugar, vanilla, and apple juice to make this. Don’t worry, I made it a point to strain out the seeds because what’s more annoying than getting those tiny seeds stuck in your teeth at the end of an otherwise perfect meal!?
